As I promised, I have finally found the time to create another Halloween makeup tutorial. I want to present something that is easy to do, and doesn't look too weird, In Indonesia, not all of us are used to celebrating Halloween. Young adults might be having fun, going out with friends with halloween costumes or makeup. But most people have nothing special prepped for Halloween. It's also not easy to find special costumes or makeup products that are specifically for Halloween.

I call this makeup look "Dark Masquerade". It's very easy to do and could be done with a majority of the makeup products you already own. I like the dark, smokey eye makeup along with dark red lips. Smokey eye + red lips is always can always help amplify that sexy side we have.

I can't believe that it's almost the end of October, which means it's almost November which is my favorite month of the year because it's my birthday month. And also Halloween is just around the corner. Since I have been active on my youtube channel for a couple of months now, I finally have a my very first Halloween Makeup tutorial.

I was debating about should I create a Halloween makeup tutorial or not. Honestly saying, I have zero experience in special effect makeup especially those kind of horror, zombie, creepy makeup that involving blood. Then I browsed through Pinterest and saw a couple of Pop Art makeup. Thanks to Pinterest I have the idea to create a pop art makeup look that is perfect for Halloween season.

Seperti yang kamu tahu, beberapa waktu lalu aku mengikuti salah satu kompetisi untuk beauty vlogger yaitu Beauty Bound Asia. Kalau kamu belum tahu kamu bisa lihat artikel aku sebelum nya disini. Kompetisi ini memiliki 3 tahap yang harus di lewati. Pada akhirnya nanti akan ada 2 orang pemenang yang akan di berangkatkan ke Tokyo #Kyaaaa.

So far, aku telah melewati tahap penyisihan pertama, semifinalist, dan yang terakhir ternyata aku terpilih menjadi salah satu National Finalist. Sabtu minggu lalu, aku mengikuti workshop kedua untuk para National Finalist. Senang banget dech bisa berhasil lolos di babak ini dan bertemu lagi dengan teman-teman vlogger lainnya dan juga belajar banyak hal dari Youtube dan SK-II.

Vlog #BeautyBoundAsia Jakarta Semifinalist Workshop

You might already know that I join a beauty creator competition powered by SK-II and YouTube named #BeautyBoundAsia. If your read my previous article "#BeautyBoundAsia : I am Jean Milka | #AboutMe", you'll find my submission video. I am a new comers in video blog community, and I know that I still have so many things to catch up if I want to become a real YouTuber. I didn't expected but I am very happy to know that I passed the first stage and become one of the finalist.

Last Saturday, it's finally the day of The Semifinalist Workshop here at Jakarta. In this workshop Beauty Bound Asia provided us with the knowledge we need to know to become a bigger YouTuber. Niken Sasyama, Strategic Partner Manager of YouTube, break down the secret how to become a successful YouTuber. It was so much inspiring for me, especially due to the fact that I just uploaded my first tutorial video a month ago.

I know that every girl wants to look pretty. Especially in front of the man she loves. That's why I came up with a makeup tutorial that is perfectly suitable for your date night. You can apply this look when you plan to have dinner with the one you love or when you're looking to catch up with your friends.

This tutorial is one brand tutorial. All product I use is from Makeup Store. If you don't know, makeup store is a brand originated from Sweden. They might not as popular as MAC or Makeup Forever, but they actually have some great products. My top favorite from Makeup Store is their eyeshadow. They have a huge variety of eyeshadow colors start from the neutral shades to the most unbelievable colors like blue, green, red, etc. All of their eyeshadow is very pigmented and true to color.

I am so excited to publish this tutorial for you. Compared to my last tutorial, "My Eveyday Makeup Routine", this one is a bit more complex and requires some extra steps. I call it "Purple in The Light" because the eye look is dominated by purple hue and champagne colors. All the shadows I used for this tutorial is from Make Up For Ever Artist Shadow. I mentioned that I love it so much and why it's worth displaying on my review. First time I got my hand on the Make Up For Ever Artist Shadow, I only have a trio palette. Then I got a voucher from Makeup Forever Indonesia and of course I decided to pick another palette of it, so now I have 6 shades of the artist shadow and I still planning to have more of them #Addiction ^^

I see Beauty Bound Asia as a place where I can meet more people and share tons of experiences.

Beauty Bound Asia is looking for the next top beauty creator. Last night, I was thinking that I wouldn't make it for the first submission. However, I knew that I wanted this so bad.
