Siapa diantara kamu yang pernah mendengar tentang Marina? Aku yakin sebagian besar dari kita sudah sangat familiar dengan brand yang satu ini. Aku sendiri sudah menggunakan Marina Body Lotion sejak zaman SMP dulu. Kalau ingat Marina, pasti ingat sama body lotion-nya. Nah baru-baru ini Marina mengeluarkan rangkaian base makeup Marina Smooth & Glow UV.

Kamu mungkin telah mengetahui dari Instagram ku, kalau beberapa waktu lalu aku sempat menghadiri launching event dari Marina Smooth & Glow UV. Melihat komentar pada postingan-ku saat itu, banyak dari kalian yang langsung meminta aku untuk membahas produk yang satu ini. Sebenarnya produk ini telah beredar di pasaran sekitar petengahan tahun 2015. Tapi ini memang pertama kalinya aku mencoba rangkaian Marina Smooth & Glow UV.

Siapa diantara kamu yang sudah tahu tentang bedak dingin. Aku rasa sebagian besar dari kamu pasti setidaknya pernah mendengar tentang warisan kecantikan turun temurun yang satu ini. Hari ini aku mau sharing tentang salah satu produk eye cream yang sudah aku gunakan sekitar 2 bulan terakhir. Kalau kita ngomongin makeup, aku paling suka main-main dengan makeup mata dengan menggunakan berbagai warna. As much as I love playing with eyeshadow, I am fully aware of the need of a good quality eye cream.. Kulit di daerah mata itu sangat halus dan tentunya rentan dengan pergerakan sekecil apapun. Apalagi kita tentu sering mengedipkan mata atau bahkan mengucak mata. Nggak heran kalau guratan halus cepat bermunculan di daerah mata.

Aku orangnya pemilih banget kalau sudah berhubungan dengan eye cream. Aku menyukai eye cream yang teksturnya seperti gel, tidak terlalu kental tapi juga tidak terlalu cair. Salah satu eye cream kesukaan aku itu adalah Eye Cream Treatment with Avocado dari Kiehl's. Karena eye cream kesukaanku itu baru saja habis, saat ini aku menggunakan SK-II Stempower Eye Cream yang aku dapat dari Beauty Bound Asia.

Sebagai seorang full time blogger dan juga freelancer aku melakukan semua aktifitas kerjaku di rumah. Meja kerjaku hanya berjarak 1,5 meter dari tempat tidurku. Hal ini tentu saja membuat tubuhku pasif, jarang bergerak dan jadinya kurang fit. Maklum, sering kali mager mau kemana-mana hehehe... Aku juga sering mengalami insomnia. Hada Labo sebenarnya brand asal Jepang yang sudah cukup dikenal karena produk skin care-nya, setidaknya begitulah aku mengenal Hada Labo. Seperti namanya CC Cream atau disebut juga sebagai color correcting cream adalah tinted moisturizer yang dapat meratakan warna kulit dan juga menyamarkan dark spot. Apa sich bedanya CC dan BB Cream? Sebenarnya tidak ada definisi yang secara signifikan membedakan CC Cream dengan BB Cream. CC dan BB Cream dapat berbeda pada setiap brand. Tetapi pada umumnya CC Cream memiliki coverage yang lebih sheer dibandingkan BB Cream dan juga terasa lebih ringan pada kulit.

Different from previous collection, the Bourjois Rouge Edition Aqua Laque have water light sensation that is not sticky and glides on very easy on the lips. The Rouge Edition Aqua Laque have consistency like a water base lip tint. It feels like nothing on the lips, but the colour is quite vibrant.

I am not sure if it's still fall season or not. But I would love to share to you my current favorite makeup inspired from fall season. Fall is always about those red tone or burgundy eyeshadow and also the dark red kind of wine colour lipstick. I really love burgundy eyeshadow nowadays. It looks so flattering on my skin tone and somehow compliment my hair colour.

Beside the fall tone eyeshadow. I also really love the dark lips trend. It was quite hard to find a dark red lipstick for my skin tone. I am quite pale and dark lipstick could looks too much on me. Then I come across the new collection of L'OREAL Star Collection Lipstick in the shade Pure Garnet. The colour is so perfect for my skin tone. It's red with slightly blue tone that is so flattering especially for fall makeup looks.

Review Lancome Miracle Cushion Foundation

Today I am back with another foundation review that I have been loving for this past weeks. It is the new foundation cushion from Lancome which is their Miracle Cushion Liquid Cushion Compact. If you don't know, Cushion is liquid foundation packaging where the liquid is soaked into a cushion or sponge which you can pick up with a special puff.

Cushion foundation was actually originated from Korea *if I am not mistaken*. In contract to the typical Korean BB or CC Cushion. Lancome Miracle is actually a liquid foundation. It's mean to have more coverage compare to BB or CC cushion. Even though it's a liquid foundation it's much more lightweight compare to any other Lancome foundation I have ever tried.

Supple Skin with Laneige Water Bank Gel Cream_EX

You might know that I have oily skin, I mentioned this quite sometimes so far. It's not as bad as before I know how to treat my skin well. I would say that my skin is more like combination to oily type now. Even though I am getting oily quite easy during the day, it doesn't means I don't need to moisturise my skin. You need to always keep in mind that "Oily" and "Moist" is two different thing. Oily is about the excessed oil that your skin produced, Moist is about keep your skin hydrated. Some people can have oily but dehydrated skin, and it's really not good for the skin.

Keep your skin hydrated is so important to make it supple and prevent premature aging. If you have oily skin like me, I suggest you to use gel texture moisturizer. Gel texture moisturizer have light and less-creamy texture that is easily absorbed. One of my current favorite moisturizer is Laneige Water Bank Gel Cream_EX. Laneige is well known for their water bank skin care series that contained Hydro Ion-Mineral Water. This "Optimal Mineral Water" ingredient claims to be able cool down your skin while supplying moisture.

Apakah kamu pernah mendengar tentang produk Sarange? Sarange adalah produk asal korea yang diformulasikan khusus sehingga sesuai dengan cuaca dan jenis kulit orang Asia pada umumnya. Hari ini aku ingin membahas tentang salah satu produk Sarange yang paling aku sukai yaitu Sarange Triple Crown BB Cream.

Sarange BB Cream ini disebut sebagi triple crown karena memiliki 3 fungsi yaitu sebagai anti-wrinkle, whitening, dan juga sebagai sunblock yang memiliki SPF 33/PA+++. Sebenarnya aku bukanlah pecinta BB Cream terutama yang asalnya dari Korea. Apalagi pada saat-saat dimana aku sedang berjerawat. Umumnya BB Cream Korea itu memberikan efek glowy yang biasa kamu lihat pada wajah artis Korea. Karena jenis kulit ku berminyak, aku lebih prefer foundation/BB Cream yang memberikan hasil matte.

As I promised, I have finally found the time to create another Halloween makeup tutorial. I want to present something that is easy to do, and doesn't look too weird, In Indonesia, not all of us are used to celebrating Halloween. Young adults might be having fun, going out with friends with halloween costumes or makeup. But most people have nothing special prepped for Halloween. It's also not easy to find special costumes or makeup products that are specifically for Halloween.

I call this makeup look "Dark Masquerade". It's very easy to do and could be done with a majority of the makeup products you already own. I like the dark, smokey eye makeup along with dark red lips. Smokey eye + red lips is always can always help amplify that sexy side we have.

Tidak terasa sebentar lagi seluruh dunia akan kembali memperingati Halloween. Kalau kamu lihat di beberapa social media sudah mulai bermunculan variasi makeup bertema Halloween. Minggu lalu, aku berkesempatan hadir ke workshop bertema "SFX-Makeup in Film Making" yang dibawakan oleh Kumalasari Tanara. Ini merupakan exclusive workshop persembahan dari PAC bersamaan dengan event FILMARES 2015. 

Karena saat ini aku mulai aktif kembali di youtube (my channel is here), aku pengen banget untuk membuat setidaknya satu makeup tutorial bertema Halloween. I can't believe that it's almost the end of October, which means it's almost November which is my favorite month of the year because it's my birthday month. I was debating about should I create a Halloween makeup tutorial or not. Honestly saying, I have zero experience in special effect makeup especially those kind of horror, zombie, creepy makeup that involving blood. Morning Routine for Healthier Life

Akhir-akhir ini aku punya masalah dengan jam tidur yang tidak teratur. Karena aku bekerja dari rumah, rutinitas aku menjadi jauh berbeda dengan orang pada umumnya. Bangun jam dua belas siang, dan tidur jam tiga pagi. Hal ini membuat badanku terasa tidak sehat dan mudah lelah. Aku bahkan mulai mengkonsumsi obat tidur #TheStrugleIsReal.

Kerena aku baru bangun sekitar jam 12 siang, aku tidak sempat untuk sarapan dan akan langsung mengkonsumsi makan siang. Hal ini membuat porsi makan siangku lebih besar dari seharusnya dan tentunya mempengaruhi berat badanku. Akhirnya satu bulan terakhir ini aku mencoba untuk mengubah gaya hidupku.

Pertama, setiap harinya aku mengatur alram di jam 8.30 pagi. Meskipun masih ngantuk aku akan tetap memaksakan diri untuk bangun. Kemudian aku akan melihat-lihat email atau chat yang masuk serta memeriksa Social Media-ku.

So far, aku telah melewati tahap penyisihan pertama, semifinalist, dan yang terakhir ternyata aku terpilih menjadi salah satu National Finalist. Sabtu minggu lalu, aku mengikuti workshop kedua untuk para National Finalist. Senang banget dech bisa berhasil lolos di babak ini dan bertemu lagi dengan teman-teman vlogger lainnya dan juga belajar banyak hal dari Youtube dan SK-II.

Soft Hands Kind Heart with The Body Shop

A couple of weeks ago I was invited the product launch event of Soft Hands Kind Heart with The Body Shop Indonesia. This is not the first time The Body Shop held an event in order to give back to the community with their Soft Hands Kind Heart program. If you don't know, Soft Hands Kind Heart is a program where The Body Shop donate a portion of the profit they earned from sales to charity. Every year, The Body Shop around the world will choose which charity program they plan to support with this program.

This year, The Body Shop Indonesia will once again support human rights champaign via Omah Munir. Omah Munir is running a specific program for the purpose of educating children about the need to recognize and appreciate human rights from and early age. You might already know that I join a beauty creator competition powered by SK-II and YouTube named #BeautyBoundAsia. If your read my previous article "#BeautyBoundAsia : I am Jean Milka | #AboutMe", you'll find my submission video. I am a new comers in video blog community, and I know that I still have so many things to catch up if I want to become a real YouTuber. Minggu lalu, aku berkunjung ke Oya Body Shaping Clinics, yang terletak di Menteng, Jakarta. Oya menawarkan aku untuk mencoba treatment andalan mereka, salah satunya adalah Face Contour Treatment. Sebelumnya aku pernah mencoba treatment sejenis yang bertujuan untuk membuat wajah terlihat lebih tirus. Waktu itu aku tidak melihat adanya perubahan yang signifikan. Karenanya aku cukup pesimis dengan janji Oya yang menyatakan bahwa perubahan dapat dilihat hanya dengan satu kali treatment. Is it possible?

I am so excited to publish this tutorial for you. Compared to my last tutorial, "My Eveyday Makeup Routine", this one is a bit more complex and requires some extra steps. I call it "Purple in The Light" because the eye look is dominated by purple hue and champagne colors. First of all, let's just ignore the color contrast of following pictures. It takes me so long to captured and edited all pictures for this review. I don't know why but body product especially those with a soft color packaging is so hard to capture. It's always over exposure and the color is not as vibrant as the real color.

I told you thousands times that I love to include something that smells good into my shower routine. Shower time, especially at night, is an escape way from a tiring day in my opinion. That's why, I am so happy when I found a package of The Body Shop Virgin Mojito on my work desk. Virgin Mojito is a limited edition collection for this summer. This collection has actually been launched since May, if I am not wrong. But of course due to our regulation, it takes longer for these product to entered The Body Shop Indonesia.

Because I talk about high end foundation most of the times, either on my blog or my tutorial. This past months I tried to find an affordable makeup base that is also light enough for everyday use. I told you that I am having such a bad breakouts lately and I try to minimizing the use of makeup especially a heavy, full-coverage foundation.
